How do I use Google Scholar with library subscriptions?

Answer

Google Scholar is a good resource to find article citations to use for research papers. UD students, faculty and staff have access to many of these resources through library subscriptions.

If you're on campus, links you find in Google Scholar will usually take you to journals we subscribe to.

If you're not on campus, Google Scholar might not identify you as a University of Delaware faculty, student, or staff member. Instead, go to the library home page and select Google Scholar from the Library databases list.

Also, remember to search appropriate library databases in addition to Google Scholar. Some subjects may not be well represented in Google Scholar and some of the specialized library databases have more sophisticated searching features. Don't limit yourself.
