What does "Get It!" or "Get This For Me!" mean?

I see the link "Get It!" and was wondering what it does. The same for the "Get This For Me!" button that I sometimes see in DELCAT records.

“Get This For Me!” button

When searching the Library’s catalog, University of Delaware students, faculty and staff can use the “Get This For Me!” button to have Library staff get the books they need, whether the books are here at the University of Delaware Library or owned by another library. For more information about this service visit the Requesting Books page

Get It! is a link resolver.

If a database or DELCAT record does not have a direct link to an article that you're seeking, the "Get It" link will search through the library's holdings and connect with a full-text copy of the desired article. If no full text copy is available, you have the option to request a copy through Interlibary Loan. Watch the Get It! video tutorial for more information.
