Ask the Library: Interlibrary Loan

Journal articles and book chapters typically take 1-2 days to be delivered through Interlibrary Loan to your account, while scans requested through the Article DELivery Service are usually supplied to your account within two business days. While some article and book chapter requests take up to two days, requested materials from mainstream publishers are delivered quickly by our partner libraries in just 12-14 hours on average. Some turnaround times are even faster: roughly 20% of requested articles are delivered in under an hour.
