Can I watch VHS videos or non-Region 1 DVDs in the Library?

Answer

The Film & Video Collection on the lower level of Morris Library has viewing carrels available for use by the UD community.  Patrons are welcome to view VHS tapes (PAL or NTSC) or non-Region 1 DVDs from the Library's collection there.  You are also welcome to bring your own VHS tapes or non-Region 1 DVDs to view.  However, the Library does not accept any liability for damage that may occur to users' materials when viewed on site.  (Film & Video VHS machines are routinely cleaned, but staff cannot vouch for the condition of the media.)  Please check hours for the Film & Video Collection before visiting.

PLEASE NOTE:  The Film & Video Collection is currently closed and the audiovisual carrels are not available.
