How can I determine the value of my books or collections? Does Special Collections provide appraisal services?

Special Collections does not provide appraisal services. It is best to obtain this information from appraisal professionals who are aware of market values, collecting trends and who can evaluate the condition of the item(s) in-person. Resources to help find an appraiser include the Directory of Archival Consultants from the Society of American Archivists and the Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association of America.
