My instructor told me to watch a video on reserve at the Library. Where would I go to do this?

Answer

It depends -- if your instructor has given the Library their own video, it will be held at the Help Center on the first floor of Morris Library.  If it is a video that the Library owns as part of the Film & Video Collection and your instructor has requested that we require the video to be viewed on site, you will see that it has an In Building Use Only 4-Hour Loan status in DELCAT.

You may watch any of these videos using the audiovisual viewing carrels on the Lower Level of Morris Library.  You may call the Student Multimedia Design Center at (302) 831-8832 up to two weeks in advance to reserve a carrel, or visit the SMDC service desk for first-come, first-served access.  Check Student Multimedia Design Center hours to ensure that you will have enough time to view your films (you can check the films' running times via DELCAT).

Tip:  If you are an instructor, it can be very helpful for your students if you can include information about which unit is servicing the video you are assigning on your syllabus.  Include the call number for videos owned by the Library.  Please reach out to the Film & Video Librarian if you have any questions.
